There are many similarities in both breeds so the Chorkie follows a similar guidelines.

eally, we should keep this breed close to a combination of parents' standards.
The Chorkie is created by crossing the yorkie to Chihuahua and then 1st generation
cross can be bred back to either parent’s breed or to other generation cross to keep
true to the Chorkie type as in the guideline below.

“Chorkie standard” - guideline 

General appearance: Graceful, alert, confident manner, terrier like qualities, temperament, vigor
and self-importance.

Sizes: Well-proportioned, level back top line, body slightly longer but prefer shorter
bodies in males. No dog should be over 12 pounds.

Tiny - under 4#
Toy - 5 to 8 #
Mini - 9 to 12 #


Head:
Prefer well rounded “apple dome” skull, with or without molera.

Muzzle:
Short, cheeks and jaws lean.

Bite: Scissors or level.

Eyes:
Full, expressive and carry intelligent expression. 

Ears:
Erect small type ears, held upright.

Nose:
Self-colored in light color dogs, or black.

Tail:
Docked within 1-inch length from base of tail. 

Coat:
Can be long or short coats. Long hair should be fine and silky in texture
moderately long and prefer straight not wavy. Facial hair can be smooth
or on the muzzle. Short coat should have soft texture, and never single
or flat with fluffy undercoat preferred.

Color:
Any color & pattern - solid, marked or splashed.

Gait:
Chorkie should move with firm, sturdy action, with good reach in front equal
to the drive from the rear. From the rear, the hocks remain parallel to each
other, and footfall of the rear legs follows directly behind that of the forelegs.
Strong drive in the rear and plenty of reach in the front, with head carried high.
Topline should remind firm and backline level as the dog moves.

Temperament:
Alert, with terrier – like qualities. 

Disqualifications:
Any dog over 12 pounds, Broken down, or cropped ears
